Kimberly Spellman, PHD, LPC, CPCS, NCC
Kimberly Spellman is a client-focused and results driven Founder and Director of Clinical Services at Resilient Minds of Georgia. She holds a master’s degree in Professional Counseling and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and a National Certified Counselor. Kimberly is adept at providing and overseeing the delivery of high quality, evidence-based, ethical client care while optimizing operational efficiency. She specializes in helping individuals build confidence, self-esteem, find work-life balance, improve relationship challenges, manage stress, anger, anxiety, depression, and crisis intervention from a trauma-informed perspective. She is passionate about helping individuals heal and achieve mental fitness. Her purpose is to provide a safe and inclusive space where human rights are respected for people from all walks of life, worldviews, and cultural backgrounds.

Claire Kaufmann, LMSW
Claire Kaufmann is a Licensed Master Social Worker at Resilient Minds of Georgia, where she supports children, teens, and young adults in navigating life’s challenges with compassion and creativity. Claire earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Advocacy and her Master’s in Social Work from Kennesaw State University. Her experience spans partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and private practice settings, giving her a strong foundation to meet clients where they are. Claire specializes in working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, neurodivergence, self-esteem, social skills, life transitions, and trauma. She takes a strengths-based, eclectic approach, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and other creative methods to make each session engaging and tailored to her clients’ needs. Claire believes in guiding clients to find their own way forward, partnering with parents and caregivers to foster growth beyond the therapy room.
CLINICAL ADMINISTRATIVE CONSULTANT
Ty Bonner, DSW, LMSW
Ty Bonner is the Clinical Administrative Consultant for Resilient Minds of Georgia, where she supports the behind-the-scenes work that helps the practice run smoothly. With a background in social work and a passion for helping others, Ty brings both compassion and organization to her role. She handles provider credentialing, client intake and scheduling systems, employee records, and insurance billing. Her goal is to ensure that clinicians can focus on what they do best, serving clients, while she manages the day-to-day operations that keep things on track. Ty’s experience in the mental health field enables her to understand the unique needs of both providers and clients, making her a vital part of the team.
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Shekelia Franklin
Shekelia is a highly empathetic and results-driven Mental Health Counselor with experience delivering comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups across diverse backgrounds.
Shekelia holds a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Community Health and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Shekelia is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an active member of Chi Sigma Iota and NSLS.
Shekelia has provided individual, couple, family and group therapy to clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma utilizing modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), compassion focused therapy (CFT) and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).
Shekelia encourages open communication, facilitates problem-solving, and supports personal growth in every session. To foster participation and engagement, Shekelia incorporates cognitive restructuring exercises and interactive mindfulness activities to help clients connect with their emotions and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Her goal is to leverage clinical expertise and a client-centered mindset in a challenging and rewarding mental health setting.

Aaliyah Bullard, LAPC
Aaliyah Bullard is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor at Resilient Minds of Georgia. She holds an Educational Specialist degree in Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina–Columbia and provides trauma-informed, client-centered therapy to adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and stress related to work, family, and identity. She is especially passionate about working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns they are trying to understand and change.
Her clinical approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She also integrates attachment-based and somatic approaches to support deeper insight, strengthen practical coping skills, improve relationships, and foster lasting change.
She brings clinical experience in Medication-Assisted Treatment and recovery settings, where she supported individuals navigating substance use, relapse, and complex life stressors, further deepening her understanding of change, resilience, and the nonlinear nature of healing.
Aaliyah strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they move toward healing, stability, and a more grounded sense of self.
